Kildare Inclusivity Festival 11th May 2025

Kildare County Council is proud to announce the launch of the first-ever Kildare Inclusivity Festival, a landmark event celebrating diversity, accessibility, and community spirit across County Kildare. This free, family-friendly festival will take place on Sunday, May 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at The Curragh Racecourse, one of Ireland’s most iconic venues.

A Celebration of Inclusion

The Kildare Inclusivity Festival is designed to be a vibrant day out for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Visitors can look forward to a packed schedule of live performances, interactive workshops, sensory-friendly zones, inclusive sports activities, and community information stands. With something for everyone, the festival aims to foster a welcoming environment that champions equality, understanding, and togetherness.

Powered by Local Partnership

This pioneering event is being delivered in collaboration with local partners, including County Kildare Access Network (CKAN), Nua Healthcare, Kildare Sports Partnership, Barretstown, and The Curragh Racecourse. Together, these organizations are working to create an event that sets the standard for accessibility and participation in community life.

Building an Inclusive Future

Kildare County Council hopes the Inclusivity Festival will become a cornerstone event on the county’s annual calendar, encouraging wider conversations and actions around inclusion. The Council also encourages neighboring counties and communities to follow suit, promoting a more inclusive Ireland for all.
